Launch of M3dicube Bristol - first event!
On the 19th February 2019, M3dicube presented their first event to Bristol with an introductory talk on 3D Printing and Models. This consisted of a talk from M3dicube co-founder Matthew Lee, as well as a fascinating and in-depth talk into the use of the technology in cardiovascular disease by Dr. Giovanni Biglino, who works heavily with the team in Bristol. Models used in teaching and research studies were presented to the audience and included models of vascular, cardiovascular and neurological anatomy.
The event was met with a proactive response and generated interest from the student body as well as the public. It will hopefully be the first of many events to come in Bristol, with increasing involvement from more students and professionals!
